Chris DeSantis-Mallia

Chris DeSantis-Mallia grew up in sunny Columbia, South Carolina, but made the leap to Los Angeles in 2011. Not long after arriving, he met Dan at a poker party—they tied the knot in 2017 and have been building magic together ever since.

What started as a small local business has grown into Creative Happens, one of California’s go-to teams for wedding and event planning. Chris brings a background in finance, admin, and HR (thanks to his time at Screen Engine/ASI) and thrives when he’s onsite making sure every detail comes together seamlessly.

He’s also the floral mastermind behind Chrysanthemum’s Florals, the in-house floral studio of Creative Happens. With 7+ years of experience, Chris creates everything from personal bouquets to large-scale floral installations with an eye for elegance and whimsy.

When he’s not bringing events to life, you’ll probably find him deep in a spreadsheet, arranging flowers, or sailing the SoCal coast with friends and family.
