Kids, Cake and Spaghetti – An Italian Style Kids Birthday Party

We were thrilled when our amazing client Susie asked us back to plan a second event! This time for her kids joint birthday party. With 60+ kids and 20 adults in attendance, no detail was spared. And while the incredible food, cake and decorations won over the many guests, it was the DJ who stole the show! Joey from Electric Entertainment kept the energy high throughout the event, keeping the kids and their parents dancing, laughing and enjoying games like Musical Chairs and The Limbo.

Held at Maggiano’s Italian Restaurant at The Grove on Los Angeles, we planned a “Dance Party” themed event, complete with glow sticks and necklaces, glow sunglasses and slinkies and more! Balloons filled the room while a custom birthday banner and an incredibly designed custom cake from Hansen Cakes took up one wall of the room. Bartenders made custom Shirley Temple’s for the kids, while sampling fine wine for their parents.

The main course was an impressive array of buffet courses, featuring caesar salad, garlic knots, spaghetti and meatballs, butter pasta, salmon and chicken. Even the kids had a food coma, though it was short lived, as the music kicked back up and the games continued until everyone was ready for bed!

We’re always amazed by how fun it is to throw kids b-day parties! Kids find fun in everything, and when you put on some good music it’s impossible for laughter, dancing and fun not to ensue!
