It was utterly pouring rain the day we put together Samantha’s Bridal Shower. We added a tent to the order last minute just to be safe, and did it pay off! But only for the best of reasons. That morning, while the Creative Happens team and our vendors worked together to setup the event, the rain was pouring and we were all soaked from running back and forth from our trucks to load the event. Everything was gorgeous and ready to go despite the rain. Then…just as the bride to be arrived, so did the sun! The dreary day flipped itself upside down into a gorgeous, sunny afternoon filled with Bridal Shower fun, games, gifts and more food than you could imagine!
The CH team spent the afternoon officiating over some excellent bridal shower games, including “Wedding Ring Toss,” “Put a Ring on It,” and my favorite, “Love Quote Trivia.” Our good friends at Dave’s Catering prepared the most delicious passed hors d’oeuvres while a breakfast buffet and champagne welcomes guests as they entered the outdoor tented event.
The colors for the event were pink and white, and we worked closely with Samantha’s friend Susie, our gracious host for the event, to layout an absolutely beautiful event! The florist prepared absolutely gorgeous flower and succulent centerpieces that we accented with leafy vines across the table, pink and white balloons, and strategically placed wedding favors featuring the bride’s favorite candy, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! I may have enjoyed a few 😉
